Taking a deep breath, Amber decided she would try
not to come accross as stand-offish and unfriendly.
Many people interpreted her behavior that way, when it
was simply that she didn't always know how to act, and
she was shy around new people. Putting on a smile she
answered, "You're right, from what I've heard of them,
they sound really nice."
Kristin smiled back, deciding that she wouldn't tell Amber about
Sloan and Cross being in San Francisco too; the people she'll be
meeting tonight ARE nice.
Walking into the restaurant, she saw that their party seemed to have
all drifted to the pool tables. Putting her hand lightly on Philip's
arm, Kristin gave a slight nod in the direction of their friends. "I
think Nick made a great choice of restaurants."
