Noticing the concerned look on Amber's face, Kristin spoke softly.
"Hey, don't look so worried; you'll love everyone. And if it makes you
feel better, I've only just met Julia, and she was good enough to let
me 'tag-team' her with Alex to get her ready...everyone will be happy
to have you here." A slight shadow crossed her face as she remembered
that Sloan, Cross, and the Council were going to be starting their
thing tomorrow; Kristin was glad that Amber could meet everyone
tonight, during the celebration.
Philip smiled and inclined his head "Come on, I'll introduce ye to the lot.
They don't bite-well unless ye be a demon but yer safe from that."
He held the door open for the ladies and then entered after them, directing
them to the table "Why not put yer order in. It seems they're off playin so
it'll give us time te put in our order as well. An' I see Nick tryin' to
pull one over on Derek's mother."
He chuckled low "I wonder if she's informed him she knows how to play
billiards."
