He held the door open for the ladies and then entered after them,
directing
them to the table "Why not put yer order in. It seems they're off
playin so
it'll give us time te put in our order as well. An' I see Nick
tryin' to> pull one over on Derek's mother."
He chuckled low "I wonder if she's informed him she knows how to play
billiards."
Kristin half-shrugged as she sat down. "Knowing Nick, that just it
made the competition more interesting." Opening her menu, she glanced
at Amber as the waiter added a place at the table for her.
"I know what you mean," she smiled. "And 'typical' is not a word you
can use to describe the people around here."
Amber looked in the direction that Kristin had nodded
and noticed the group of people playing pool.
"Wow, there`s something Jane and the others in Boston
would`ve never let me catch them doing," she said.
This house was going to be very different from the one
she had known.
