After exchanging a glance with Julia he turned his eyes back to Jim. "He's dead," at least Derek thought and prayed that he was. The vampires were having a nasty habit of not staying dead, at least some of them anyway. "He won't hurt anyone else," he said confidently.
Bryce ran up to join the conversation at this point looking at Julia. "Ma�am, are you all right? That guy almost plowed right into you. He never watches where he�s going," he said, indicating that he and the rollerblader were acquainted. By the tone in his voice, though, Bryce made it clear that they were, by no means, friends.
This was confirmed as the man sailed past the group again catching a glimpse of Bryce. "Hey Ghostbuster," he shouted out loudly. "If you catch a shot of Elvis, get him to autograph it for me!"
"I hate that guy," Bryce muttered as the disrespectful skater went out of site.
