Su Lin gritted his teeth.  He had already made more allowances than he would have liked to in this hearing, but he did not want to deny Sloan, the precept, his colleague, and his friend the right to speak.  "You may proceed, Precept Sloan."   "I will, at this time, remove Franklin Cross pending investigation, suspension immediately, for his act of subterfuge used today and without approval.  Unless," Sloan looked at each one of them "You told him to bring Ms. Wa... Mrs. Rayne here under false pretences, in which case I will have to void this Tribunal and put you all on suspension pending a trial?"   He gave them a moment to answer "And of course I, being the next in succession, will take over the role of the Lead Investigator in this session."
