Amber gave a small nod in agreement, then sighed.
She wished things came easily for her in this kind of
situation, but they never did. She let her hands
limply fall to her stomach, which made her wince in
pain; she kept forgetting about the red claw marks
left there. "I guess this isn't exactly the best time
to have come, either," she said. But she didn't want
to talk about this anymore, so, changing the subject,
she asked, "I wonder if my things have gotten here."
