"Oh," Derek asked raising and eyebrow as he opened his menu and began to glance over it. Soft piano music filled the air as the water came over to get orders for drinks and appetizers. Derek ordered Scotch on the rock and French Onion soup. Then waited for Julia.
Julia smiled "Now you know why I refuse to watch a football game when Nick announces it to the house that it's on." She looked at the menu and ordered a glass of ginger ale and a bowl of soup. "Not that," she added once the waiter left and they were alone... just to see Derek's reaction "I mind mild tackling from a certain Precept."
