Just curious (_not_ saying that I disagree with the above, but looking for
more info):

Not knowing much about environment variables, doesn't this require changing
the target system to include it?  I tried to create and set one from a batch
file, but it didn't last beyond the current cmd box (WinXP SP1).  So if you
have full control over all the machines, then the above works great, but if
you carry your config around to machines that aren't yours, this could be
problematic.  Is this right, or is there some command that I'm missing?
