I can second that. I have no bumpbar but a always-visible bar with 
vdesk-switch buttons and an active tasks subbar. PP got definitely 
sluggish than before, noticable each time I switch vdesks, 
minimize/restore apps or show the organize vdesks window (*vdesk 
arrange). These actions take usually 2-3 times than before with 
noticable freezing times. Especially icon & title extraction of the 
active tasks makes PP totally unresponsive, even though the CPU and disk 
are *not* used at all.

This behaviour has started after my recent upgrades to 4.5.xx, though it 
might have begun with earlier versions.
