you can download plugins from the files section of the yahoo board
you can also find the commands that send output to PP there.
Or you could run a program using file.runwait() - the program could be ping.exe 
itself
or cmd.com with arguments /c "ping.exe > c:\pingout.txt" and read 
c:\pingout.txt afterwards with 
file.readall() ...
