What you're saying is that you can't compile code that links to the library, right? Because if compiling the library is the problem, I could do that. Now that I think about it, if you wrote a thin wrapper in the form of a plugin, I could perhaps compile your code. I suppose you aren't willing to install and learn to use a free compiler (I can understand that).
