Of course it doesn't work with an Imac, as it has no SCSI. My
brain was asleep. You must know someone with a SCSI Mac, like a PowerMac.
Hope so, as the SCSI disk mode works through connecting two SCSI ports.
Check out the 1400 with the HDI-30 (NOT 25!) plugged into the SCSI
port of the 1400, and boot it. You should get a diamond icon with the SCSI
ID# inside it. That means that the ROM is now running the 1400 as it
should. Shut it off and find a desktop with SCSI DB-25 on the back. More
instructions after that.
