Thinking about it a little bit, I guess this should mean that _any_ battery (provided it fits in the bay) will _power_ the 'book. But to be rechargeable, the book and battery have to be outfitted with an Apple supported circuitry/software combination...
So then, get the mAh and V specs right, and one could construct a monster battery from cheap store bought NiMH cells, eh? You'd still need an external charger, but I'd be willing to deal with that if it meant 5 hours of charge... Anyone ever do this for a 5300/190? A BATTERY PACK - somethign that fits in the 'book, _not_ something that gets adapted to the DC power port on the back... Peace, Drew P.S. - yeah, my Wallstreet battery bit the dust last year. Still haven't replaced it... Think I could outfit it w/ NiMH cells of the same or similar specs and have it work correctly? I say NiMH because they're cheaper (and I've never seen LiIon cells for sale) Remy Davison <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >So the 3400 LiION worked in the 190, yes, Victoria?
