Hi everybody, I have 2 questions:
1. I changed the PRAM battery in my 3400c and nothing changed, the date is always wrong when I start up my PB after only a day or two. The main battery doesn't charge so I cannot startup the PB without the AC connected. I reset the PRAM (with the switch in the back), I let it plugged in for a whole day (24 hours) and nothing changes. Does anybody know why is this happening? Maybe the battery I got isn't good? Maybe it's something else? My main battery just stopped charging all of a sudden, it worked perfectly one day and the next... nothing. Is this normal? Is my main battery dead also? 2. I want to get a new main battery, but I'm not sure which to get. The original is a Li-ION, I know these last longer than the NiMH, but they go from $70-150. I've seen some NiMH for around $10. What are the differences between the two? Is the NiMH safe to use on a 3400c? Which would you recommend? Any idea on where I could get it cheaper? Thanks to all.
