My new-as-of-two-months-ago battery is already starting to behave unreliably: it runs for at least half an hour before getting down to the "two hours remaining" level, then perhaps another ten minutes before reaching the hour and a half stage, then plunges down to nothing almost immediately. And this morning it showed one of its cells as empty merely from having been unplugged for five minutes (while sleeping) then carried into another room and re-plugged. It would be nice to be able to trust it off its tether for long enough to type a letter at least.
