I use a WaveLAN Turbo silver 11mbps card on a 5300cs running 7.5.3 successfully on a DSL AirPort network and it might work for you. I *think* the current iteration of my Lucent card is now known as the Orinco silver which is widely available and I've seen for under USD 50. Also, they have Mac drivers (but the Mac drivers don't list compatibility down to 7.5.x whereas the Lucent drivers do) and no limitations as to what kind of 802.11 network they can join, AFAIK. However, I could be mistaken. I've never used a Belkin router (not knowingly, anyway, although I've ecrtainly stumbled onto various networks while traveling), so I could be wrong.
