FUD. Mine works fine on my 5300ce under OS 8.6. Well, the ethernet does, anyway. There ARE documented bugs using the video portion of the card under anything higher than 7.5.5, but the enet should still work. 8.6 may be a little slow by some standards, but my 5300ce runs excellently with it. So does my cs. I don't recall, at the moment, which version of the software I have, but the floppy's around here somewhere. Well, anyway, it worked great before I pulled it. My 5300ce's case bottom is broken - there's no way to fasten the card to the logic board. All the jostling of cables kept popping it out of it's socket enough that the darn thing would crash my 5300 from time to time. Rather than keep opening the case and reseating the card, I just pulled it. Please note, though, that it does work under OS 8.6.
