I have a powerbook 520c which has a screen problem.
I have had it apart a few times. But ever since the
1st time, my screen would show lines on the lower half
instead of a nice clear picture. Now It won't show
anything unless I am jiggling the the video cable to
the monitor. I can't get a good connection, so
basically I can't use it period, because I can't get
the screen to appear, because of the bad, loose, etc.,
video connector, without jiggling and then only a
momentary flicker, that I can see it is starting up.
It works, I just can't see anything on the laptop
screen.
In case I may be unclear, I am speaking of the laptop
screen only, not an external screen.
How can I fix this this. I liked the blackbird.
I removed the old screen on it as the hinges failed
and the screen fell over backwards breaking the screen
hinges.
So this is a good different screen.
TIA
God Bless!
Junior
