Hi,

Is there some trick to making cd-rom modules in Powerbook 1400c/cs machines
behave?

I have a 12x CD-rom module for my 1400cs/133. I inserted the CD-rom while the
laptop was in Sleep Mode. After which, I put in a cd-rom. It buzzed and
clicked and whirred... never read it.

After about the 7th attempt, I finally got the "Unreadable Disk/Wanna Format
It?" message.

Finally, I restarted the laptop w/ the Cd-rom module (and CD-rom) still in
it. When the desktop came up, voila! CD-rom was on the desktop...

What gives?

Thanks...

Craig W.
