Does the card work with the Encryption off? The fact that you are working with an Airport Base Station should not matter. My wireless router is actually a D-Link connected as an access point through a Linksys 4 port router. The first thing that will help is if you test it without WEP. If this works, try using a 64 bit WEP. The Gold will support both 64 and 128 bit, so try 64 first, then as long as everything is working at that point, then try 128. Now, I did as the guide said. For the sake of knowing I am right, I keyed my key in simpletext then copy and pasted it in the fields. Let me know if you are having problems connecting period. Check your TCP?IP control panel to see if you are getting an appropriate IP address, and make sure ORINOCO is selected in TCP/IP as well. I found myself fighting withe the 1400 at first, because I forgot to switch my TCP/IP settings.

Yeah, I know about the Penmachine site. That's what made me wanna go wireless in the first place. He's using a LinkSys (I believe) router though. I emailed him and he couldn't really help me since he wasn't using Airport. I followed the site exactly--- no go. Are you running Airport? Any help would be appreciated, I hate restarting my Airport this often. Thanks
