If that doesn't work, copy the Disk Tools disk and add the enabler to it's System
Folder.


Write-protect and boot from this disk; don't hold down any keys during boot.
Wipe the harddrive clean and copy the entire contents of the Disk Tools disk to the
now empty harddrive. Boot from the harddrive. Insert Install 1 and start installing.
That should do it.



Make sure any special floppies you make: 1) work (can be used to boot the machine) 2) are write-protected and CLEARLY labeled


I have made a floppy with the disk tools and added the enabler to the system folder; however, when the PB starts up it ejects the disc and starts up with 7.6. Just can't seem to get it to boot from the 7.1 disc.
