Hi all.
I was just thinking.
If a powerbook 5300 can support wi-fi, why can't they make a usb card that
will fit in the modem card slot.
If it will take high speed internet, why can't it take usb through this
port?

They could, they just don't. I it's just that when people started making 802.11b card CardBus wasn't so hot and when they started making USB then Cardbus was "in". Also I think the chipsets for USB controllers are all built for PCI interface which means CardBus.
