Replacing the housing should fix it. Check, though, to make sure the other
end of the hinge is stil formly attached to the frame (case stiffener).

Is this a color or grayscale 5300? I've got a spare 5300 greyscale display
housing (supposedly band new) that needs a home. (Bought it by mistake for
my old 5300c which I later traded for a Palm.)
