Yes, I was under the impression that the only Powerbook models that could 
EITHER charge the battery OR could be in use -- when using the Duo AC adapters -- 
was the Wallstreet G3 or anything higher. I am unsure about Kangas....

Using a Duo AC adapter w/ a 1400, 2400 & 3400 should only make the battery 
charge slowly... but it does charge while the laptop is in use.
