I use a Duo adapter on my 1400c/183; I think the only drawback is that it charges the 1400's battery a little slower than the OE adapter... IIRC, the Duo 2300c's OE adapter has a little more juice than the rest of them for the 210-280c; so that model of AC adapter might be more desirable.
