Beniamino,

I wanted to get back to you with my lack of progress printing with the serial port. I looked in to all kinds of things through Apple support, but so far, no luck. I also was not able to get the serial port to dial a modem.

My latest attempt will be to try it with an updated driver for the 3400c modem - got an updated extension for both the modem and ethernet - but that is for the optional internal modem and ethernet. Thought if I point the modem to the internal, definitely, then maybe I can keep the serial port "open" or the modem/printer. Also will check if I can set the modem to "normal" or "external" as suggested by Apple; I never had that option before.

I added a USB card this morning, so hopefully will be able to print from it to a usb printer, however, adding that seriously dropped my signal to my wireless card...

Do you have any information regarding a signal booster? :)

Thanks,
Patti Worden
