A) OK, I now have a bootable external drive.

B) Re: installing the Lucent package, Cameron said: go fishing in the System file with ResEdit, find the DRVR resource bundle, and delete ENET0. I did that on the external System Folder.

C) I ran the Lucent Installer: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macos/4835 and it completed OK.

D) The Lucent card is shown on the Desktop. Yea!

When I go to the Control Panel for WaveLAN, It tells me it can't work until I change the Appletalk or TCP/IP to the card. [OK] But *then* it says I can't use that Control Panel with this machine. And neither AppleTalk or TCP/IP show the card.


How do I troubleshoot the driver issue?
