Let's assume I backup the System Folder, then with ResEdit mangle it so badly the machine won't boot. Now what do I do to recover? Is there some way to choose system folder at boot-time?
I have a OS8 CD, but for whatever reason, the Powerbook refuses to recognize the CD drive. I finally copied the 8.0 updater in via the net, and ran it from the desktop.
(You can see some old traffic of mine on this list....A Wallstreet sees the CD, and both see other devices on the SCSI chain...)
Is there a way to make boot floppies?
