Sorry -- I've come into this thread late, but do you mean gmail as in google mail? That really shouldn't require ActiveX. Just grab Mozilla 1.0 and it'll probably run just fine.

Course I'm betting I've completely missed on what you're referring to with gmail. If I have, give me a yell -- if you're looking for, say, Excel or some other COM-compliant tech embedded in a browser via ActiveX (rather than simple "ActiveX scripting", which is imo a misnomer for vbscript or JScript in a page in place of ECMAscript or whatever), no, it's likely not going to work with your Mac, afaik.
