Gmail works just fine w/ iCab 2.9.8. In the box that allows logging in, there is a link underneath were it states your browser s not compatible and you can log in anyway..
I used it for a few month until last weekend when 10.2 showed up thanks to OWC..

Sorry -- I've come into this thread late, but do you mean gmail as in google mail? That really shouldn't require ActiveX. Just grab Mozilla 1.0 and it'll probably run just fine.

Course I'm betting I've completely missed on what you're referring to with gmail. If I have, give me a yell -- if you're looking for, say, Excel or some other COM-compliant tech embedded in a browser via ActiveX (rather than simple "ActiveX scripting", which is imo a misnomer for vbscript or JScript in a page in place of ECMAscript or whatever), no, it's likely not going to work with your Mac, afaik.

Any tips on how to get IE 5.1.7 to work? I turned on
ActiveX in the prefs but gmail still doesn't work.
