1. Insert the card in top or bottom slot. Be gentle. 2. Erase/format the card. 3. If you can't erase/format the card, turn off MacLink Plus. 4. Install the system on the card. 5. Choose the card as the start-up disk. 6. Reboot.
Others on the list helped me and the archive has quite a bit of information. It can be done.
I run my 190cs from a card to save the battery. Haven't had a problem and I do all my mobile word processing, and other things, on the 190cs and find it completely adequate.
