Thank you all for the attention. It's been a hard task to install Linux on a PB5300. Well, I don't have any problem with MAC OS 8.0. I have it installed on the computer. All I want is a text editor that has syntax highlighting (for me to program in Java and C/C++), a Java compiler and a C/C++ compiler. Before thinking in installing Linux, I tried to find the required programs for Mac OS 8.0 but I couldn' t. I'll try to find an external zip drive or cdrom. I'll see if someone has one of them.
