You must be thinking either of the 1400 or 2300.  The 2400 is
definitely PCI based - it's a cousin of the 3400.  It can even be
modified to be CardBus compatible!

The message that Gary needs to take away is that since his PowerBook
2400c is _not_ a Pismo or Lombard, it will work fine with any hard
drive he can put in it. ...snip...
