you can thank our resident curmudgeon Robert for reminding me to help
others the way they've helped me keep my flotilla of old Macs and
PowerComputing gear up and running, long after they've been deemed
'obsolete'...heh...heh.

I can thank Robert for a lot more than that myself, even tho' he's been
obsolete since Chevy switched to 12V.

Obsolete means one can trick out a PowerComputing monster like the PTP for
peanuts, as exotic components from yesteryear hit the market dirt cheap. I
still use my 2 PTP's everyday (G3/300 & G4/350) alongside a B&W G3/400.

IIRC, you own(ed) a PowerWave. I picked one up a while back to try out a
'Stargate' card (2 PCI & 2 nubus slots). Both were product of the wonderful
world of eBay, and both were about the cost of a good bottle of whiskey.
