Yes, adding in a faster graphics card such as a Radeon 7000 from eBay, will greatly enhance your computing experience. (No, I don't sell such cards on eBay ;-) A modern card will have much better 2D acceleration, good 3D acceleration and most importantly, drivers that don't hail from the 7.x era of Macs with the 'update' being to 8.1. It'll cost you about $64 for the Radeon 7000PCI, with DVI and TV (S-video) outputs and then you can play DVDs too :-D And run OS X with all the fun stuff turned on..
That is my next upgrade, for sure.
