*Precisely* my point.  (My intention was never to debate reply to
munging!) It would allow a single command that behaves the same
regardless of how any given list mom has set up his list.  Being on many
lists, it is a pain to remember how each works.  It leads to user error
accidently replying incorrectly.  Preventing user error is a hallmark of
good UI design.

One more item in the Mail menu is no big deal, the toolbar is already
customisable, and Cmd-Opt-R is currently unused.  Its perfect. :)
