2-way synching never worked for me, which is why I switched to AAB-as-
master mode.

That's strange.  Synching on my 550 MHz Powerbook takes just a couple of
seconds for 245 contacts.  One-way synching, mind you.

To re-sync, press command-shift-I to bring up the Import Assistant.  Set
it up to import your addresses from AAB, and hit the Go Ahead button.

And the next time you need to re-sync, it's very easy:  command-shift-I,
command-right-arrow, command-right-arrow, return.
