But if the sender and the receiver allowed no limit on the line length would the same have happened? In other words is it PM that chops the line length on receipt, or does it happen somewhere in between? Or possibly both? Personally I'm all for the PM way of doing things. Once everyone starts having their own 'standard' the whole thing falls down. cheers, Chris
