Hi Jim, this is my reply to your message.  As you can see, your words
came up in double quotes, and my previous words are now in triple quotes.
 This always happens the same way, whether I reply by just clicking on
the reply button  (cmd-R) or by first selecting some text from the
message I am replying to and then clicking the reply button.  I never get
single quotes.
