I'm still setting up programs and preferences. I'm weeks away from even
"thinking" about learning how to write scripts in Apple.
And for folks who don't even know what a script is, and let's say that they
too are moving from PC to here, they will have to understand that this
is a little different and will have some level of a learning curve. But be
very sure that this kind of stuff found missing will absolutely be viewed as
a "lack" they WILL move on, or even go back.
They're loss, sure. But what IS the purpose here? To get the rest of the
world to learn to speak "mac", or for "mac" to find the best way to
satisfy the needs and desires of the customer?
Just a thought.

Thanks Chris.
I've always felt that there's no sense in rediscovering what has already been
documented in history. Being the 356th person to reach the North Pole
doesn't sound like a very historical event. So I'd rather learn about it
from
others who've been-there/done-that, and benefit from their wisdom.
If it turns out that it sounds like a really great idea, THEN I'll go put
on my
parka.
