This is not an issue with spammers. There is a setting in PM that allows it to remember all of your previous correspondents, even if they aren't in your addressbook, just for the sake of autocompleting addresses better. Visibly you have it set. Go to prefs, addressbook, and uncheck "history". You will loose the autocompletion capability for those not-in-addressbook recent adresses (not for those in addressbook). I personally use PM addressbook, with Apple's as a slave, and no problems. If you are exhausted with spammers -like me- I recommend SpamSieve, a bayesian separate filter that will work with almost any mail client (including PM) and scores almost 98% efficiency for me. Spamsieve is shareware (and I paid it) but you can use it as long as you want before paying. Additionally, non-bayesian, free, filtered-mail services start to appear: while always less efficient than bayesians (and not autoadaptative) they have the advantage of filtering spams *before* you download them. For an example of them I would recommend Tmicha, which filters out some 80% of my spam. With Tmicha (or any other such mailbox) you can keep your old address: simply route it to your new one (a service almost always available for mailboxes via their web interface), and from now just get mail from Tmicha, it will include the incoming mails from your old address, but filtered.
