I have been asked to compare RP's "non-core" responsibility commitments at our
site to other sites. To assist in this effort, I would appreciate answers to
the following questions:

Does RP calibrate radiation monitors?
                If so, which type?
                                Area Monitors?
                                Process Monitors?
                                Accident Monitors?
Does RP sample storm drains (per ANI, for tritium and gamma analysis)?
If so, at what frequency are these samples collected?
Does RP obtain soil samples from locations inside the site boundary for gamma
analysis?
If so, at what frequency are these samples collected?
Does RP perform sampling of volumetric materials (oil, soil, concrete, etc.)
for unconditional release?
Is RP responsible for calibrating/maintaining/daily operability checks for the
following?
                                Gamma Spectroscopy Equipment
                                Alpha and beta proportional counters
Is RP responsible for the Confined Space Program?
Does RP perform all atmospheric sampling for confined spaces?
Is RP responsible for sluicing secondary resin?
Is RP responsible for sluicing primary resin?
Is RP responsible for dewatering resin for shipment?
Is RP responsible for packaging radioactive waste casks for shipment?
Do RP technicians manage all day to day dosimetry operations (issue TLDs,
perform Personnel Exposure Investigations for anomalous ED or TLD readings,
badge exchange, etc.)?

And finally, How many units do you have, and how many RP technicians do you
have per unit? Please include all RP technician/equivalents who perform ALARA
planning, RWPs, Outage Planning, Dosimetry, Instruments, Respiratory
Protection, Radioactive Waste, Confined Space sampling/permitting no matter
what organization they report to.

Thanks for helping make Powernet work for all of us!!!!!
