I am looking for information regarding how and who. Do workers have to hand in signed trip tickets in order to receive proper dosimetry during outages? No. How do workers get EDs during non-outages and outages? Normal EPDs are in a rack at each RP Island. Workers will pick them up and login to Sentinel for both outage and non-outage. They need to see an RP if they need a iPam for either telemetric, elevated noise area, or hearing impaired. Welder dosimeters are located at the island and must get one from RP. Are there workers assigned to check batteries in the EDs around the clock during outages and what is the frequency non-outage? No. For outages we have a small dosimetry staff at the island, some of these are outage volunteers. They take care of battery and other issues. Non-outage EPDs are usually collected as they are found and any issues are corrected. Thank you for your help. Diana J.
