Subject: [powernet] A few questions about your dosimetry department
Email sent from outside of PSEG. Use caution before using links/attachments.
________________________________
Hello, I’m interested in a broad overview of your dosimetry program
roles/responsibilities, if you wouldn’t mind answering a few informal benchmark
questions:
1) How many individuals are involved in implementing your dosimetry
program? (from in-processing through termination) 3
2) Are those individuals bargaining unit or management? Mgt and BU
3) What are their primary roles, and what other station functions are
covered within your program? (respirator fits, environmental/REMP, etc?) BU
for mask fits and WBC. Dosimetry processing is mgt
4) Do dosimetry employees have required duties outside of dosimetry? NO
5) What is your role? RPM
6) Does your station issue dosimetry to all individuals on-site, or only
to those entering a RCA? Most but now looking for reduction opportunities
7) Do you anticipate needing to make any departmental changes as a result
of nuclear promise initiative strategies? NO
Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to provide.
