(from in-processing through termination) Non-outage one dosimetry technician. We do have RP analysts who are qualified in basic dosimetry duties, such as whole body counts, issuance of TLDs, etc. During refueling outages, we bring in 4 to 6 contract dosimetry techs to supplement the staff. The number varies based on the amount of multi-badge/EDEx badging we do. 2) Are those individuals bargaining unit or management? Non-bargaining unit, but non-exempt. 3) What are their primary roles, and what other station functions are covered within your program? (respirator fits, environmental/REMP, etc?) Respirator fits, coordination of document archiving, area badging program, and office supply ordering. 4) Do dosimetry employees have required duties outside of dosimetry? See 3) above, and add ERO duties. 5) What is your role? RP Technical Superintendent 6) Does your station issue dosimetry to all individuals on-site, or only to those entering a RCA? Only those who enter the RCA. Other monitoring is by area badging. 7) Do you anticipate needing to make any departmental changes as a result of nuclear promise initiative strategies?
