1. Do they remove the hard hat, remove the p.c. hood, then replace hard hat on bare head and proceed to remove protective clothing? We remove outer shoecovers and gloves, then hardhat & hardhat cover, place on head then continue to undress.
2. Remove the hard hat and place it on the step off pad or a table? If hardhat has to be removed upon exit they are to place on the inside of the SOP in which RP will have to release across pad. When using table it will have a designated clean and contaminated side in which they remove and place on the CA side. 3. Utilize common contaminated area hard hats which remain in the area. During outages we furnish designated hardhats where container hold clean hardhats that they don when entering CA and upon exit they remove in another container before stepping onto the ventilated SOP and removing outer shoecovers and gloves. These hardhats are deconned and moved back to clean container.
