I found the source of my 1270 black line problem to be the ink carts dribbling into the receptical when stationary. simply blotting up the excess ink cures it. Just open lid, press yellow button .When ink cart has moved to the left soak up excess ink in the carts normal resting place.with paper towel. press yellow button, close lid problem gone away, for now.
