I have just unblocked an Epson 1160 which had been sitting idle for 6 months. I used Isopropynil Alcohol rather than Windolene.
A -- slightly tongue-in-cheek -- caution for all those people with blocked heads following the advice in this thread.

The windolene solution certainly worked for me, and cleared the blocked heads on my Epson 1520 fine, but now -- 3 months on -- all my prints still have a faint smell of windolene.

That might be something to bear in mind if you are printing for public display or for delivery to a client.

It might be considerably easier to talk away a print smelling of alcohol with a straight face.
