I have just unblocked an Epson 1160 which had been sitting idle for 6 months. I used Isopropynil Alcohol rather than Windolene.
The windolene solution certainly worked for me, and cleared the blocked heads on my Epson 1520 fine, but now -- 3 months on -- all my prints still have a faint smell of windolene.
That might be something to bear in mind if you are printing for public display or for delivery to a client.
It might be considerably easier to talk away a print smelling of alcohol with a straight face.
