Shangara

Goldfinger was run by Peter Goldfield, who now runs the wonderful Duckspool
workshops (see their website www.duckspool.com) which became Silverprint
(see their website www.silverprint.co.uk), I believe Martin used to work
with/for Peter.

I too wish(ed) I could produce beautiful digital prints like I produce on my
rapidly dwindling supply of Kodak Ektalure, but have realised that, as with
the multitude of traditional B&W papers that used to be available to us, I
just have to find the paper/printer/ink combo that I find most pleasing and
run with that, which is one of the many reasons I joined this group.

I'm sure it's been said before but hey, so many toys, so much money, so
little time.

>Steve - It was a lovely paper. I did quite a bit of printing on it and am
>looking at a couple of 16x20's. Used to buy it from a tiny shop above a
>chemist in Muswell Hill. I think it was called Goldfinger?.....One day they
>were then and then suddenly gone...Now, if only I could produce such prints
>digitally...
