Hi Paul,

- Restart the computer and hold down COMMAND>S on start-up.

- You will be presented with a screen with a load of commands/geeky computer
stuff.

- Towards the end, you will see some copy that says something like, "If you
need to make modifications run /sbin/fsck -y

- Type /sbin/fsck -y and hit enter.

- If, at the end, it says 'modifications were made', then run it again until
it says 'Volume x appears to be OK'.

- Type reboot and hit enter.

- Start-up resumes...
